THE NOMAD HOTEL
DISCOVER One of New York City’s most glamorous boutique hotels in the up-and-coming NoMad district.
NEW YORK Set within a refurbished turn of the century Beaux-Arts building, the Nomad Hotel offers a chic addition to Manhattan’s NoMad (North of Madison Square Park) neighbourhood. In addition to its central location, it boasts alluring interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia, the creative genius behind Paris’ renowned Hotel Costes. With freestanding clawfoot bathtubs and stunning views of the city, the 168 guest rooms are designed with maple hardwood floors, handmade vintage Heriz rugs, mahogany writing desks, and aged leather headboards and armchairs. The hotel’s restaurant – headed by chef Daniel Humm of Michelin three-starred Eleven Madison Park – is designed as a series of distinctive rooms centered around a glass-enclosed atrium. The Library is an impressive two-level space with beautifully lit, dark wood floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and there’s also an indoor rooftop lounge which is open to hotel guests only.
