At this hip urban eatery, the four tonne custom-made ovens take centre stage as diners perch on counter-side seats for a front-row view of the kitchen action. Brushed concrete floors, industrial lamps and lofty bare brick walls complete the designer look throughout the restaurant’s stylish interiors. Serving a daily-changing menu, talented young Australian chef Dave Pynt can be seen sizzling ingredients to perfection on three elevated grills, such as smoked quails eggs, short rib steaks, Norwegian king crab smothered in garlic butter, and Japanese sea bream with fennel salad. Simply specify the weight of the fresh fish or meat cut you prefer and the chefs will cook it to perfection in front of you. Make sure to leave room for Burnt Ends’ signature ice cream sandwich to finish.
