Charming House DD724

  • Design

Having opened its doors in the summer of 2003, the Charming House DD724 is one of Venice’s most popular boutique hotels with sleek-yet-cosy interiors, an intimate ambience and a fantastic central location in the heart of Venice. Tucked away on a side street in the charming neighbourhood of Dorsoduro, Charming House DD724 has been remodeled as a modern take on an ancient Venetian inn. Created by acclaimed Italian architect Mauro Mazzolini, the Charming House DD724 has only seven rooms within its intimate Avante Garde-inspired space. Expect dimly-lit interiors, contemporary furnishings and an impressive art collection from Italian classical painters such as Raimondo Galeano, Stefania Orrù, Nazareno Luciani, Terenzio Eusebi, Gianni Tarli and the photography of Piero Roi. The hotel’s modern conveniences are state-of-the-art, with high-tech, liquid crystal TVs and high speed internet (which is surprisingly hard to come by in Venice). One of the best things about this hotel is its fantastic location, which will place you in the heart of one of Venice’s most charming neighbourhoods. You’ll be within walking distance of many of Venice’s best landmarks, including the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Gallerie dell’Accademia and the Chiesa della Salute.
