This hip art gallery-cum-bar is a one of our favourite new small bars in Sydney. Tucked away in a former roller-door car garage, this long and narrow space boasts some seriously cool graffiti art and thrown-together eclectic furnishings, good strong cocktails and mixed drinks, and a hip local inner-city crowd with tight jeans and tiny moustaches. Brash indoor graffiti clashes with plush antique couches and sumptuous Chesterfield leather lounges. Old-school books and magazines are piled high around the walls. The bar is surrounded by classic thrift store trinkets such as an illuminated female head, old-school green army toy soldiers, and even the odd Che Gavara post card from Havana and used Parisian metro tickets thrown in the mix. We recommend you stick to the classics - you can't go past their Gimlet or the Dark & Stormy. If that wasn’t enough, they also make the best chocolate and banana crepes in town to smooth out the next-day hangover.
