One of our favourite places to visit in San Francisco is the iconic Ferry Building, a mecca of fresh and delicious organic food stalls, cafes and alfresco restaurants. Located on the Embarcadero waterfront in downtown San Francisco, this is where you’ll find locals and visitors to the city at any time of the day shopping, eating and enjoying afternoon drinks on the building’s outdoor waterfront pier. The most difficult decision will be where you should dine, as there are many wonderful restaurants and eateries to choose from. One of our favourite dining and cocktails spots is The Slanted Door, one of the best places in San Francisco for modern Vietnamese cuisine and perfectly crafted cocktails. The tiny Blue Bottle Cafe is a great spot for award-winning coffee, along with many other places offering everything from fresh oysters and seafood to authentic Italian, Mexican and Californian cuisine which is prepared directly in front of you. Not to be missed.
