Family-owned Delfina is a stylish and casual neighborhood trattoria located in San Francisco's trendy residential area, the Mission District. Chef-owner Craig Stoll—who graduated from the CIA and trained in Torino, Italy, and in Tuscany’s one Michelin starred Da Delfina—offers a daily-changing menu that draws upon premium seasonal ingredients and rustic Italian staples. Delfina’s source ingredients are primarily all homemade: from the cured meats and sausages to the gelato that goes with the richly proportioned profiteroles. Some highlights include the signature grilled fresh Monterey Bay calamari with warm white bean salad, and the homemade Paccheri all’Amalfitana (Alaskan true cod) which was inspired by the chef’s travels to the Amalfi Coast.
