It isn't often that this laid-back city dresses up, but the panoramic views from the 19th-story windows are convincing enough for locals and visitors alike to dress up. With the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and the picturesque San Francisco skyline painting a picturesque scene, it's imperative to go at night when the city lights are sparkling brightly. In addition to the 100-cocktail menu and light dining options, the Top of the Mark also offers a popular Sunday champagne brunch option, and breakfast and lunch every day. Top of the Mark also offers live music throughout the week, with a six-piece retro-hit orchestra on Fridays, rotating local acts on Saturdays, and various types of jazz throughout the week. The crowd tends to vary with the scheduled shows though, so expect to find anyone from stately older couples and tourists to larger celebratory parties on any given night of the week.
