Gusto & Osteria

  • International

This spacious, trendy food emporium in the heart of central Rome offers something for everyone— an upscale fusion restaurant for see-and-be-seen dining; a pizzeria for fresh and delicious wood-fired pizzas; an in-house osteria with an Italian tasting plate-style menu of bite-sized delicacies such as arancini balls, flavoursome bruschetta and superb cured Italian meats; a cheese boutique with to-die-for cheese boards and homemade Italian breads; and a wine and cocktail bar which make for a trendy pre- and post dinner aperitif night spot. This is the place where you can pop into at any time of the day for either a coffee, light snack, an indulgent meal or a late night cocktail. While the vibe tends to be hip and the crowd fashionable, the overall atmosphere here is quite warm and welcoming. We love the Osteria for its menu of tasty small plates and its solid selection of Italian wines, as well as Gusto’s outdoor terrace for alfresco dining during the warmer months. Beware, however, that the service can be variable during peak service hours.
