As one of Rio de Janeiro’s most fashionable modern eateries, Zuka is a stylish restaurant and bar designed by local Brazilian architect Bel Lobo. Zuka features sumptuous wood paneled interiors, marble walls, and a dramatic open kitchen which showcases the Brazilian, European and Asian cuisine being prepared in front of you. Located in Rio’s trendy Leblon nightlife district only a few blocks from the beach, chef Ludmila Soeiro and his team create a daily-changing menu with tasty international favourites such as juicy hamburgers, delicious salads and roasted meats. Zuka’s dinner creations include favourites such as homemade tagliatelle with shrimp and espelette pepper; seared tuna with a root milk infusion; and grilled rump steak with pistachio basmati rice. While the dishes are inventive and the interiors sophisticated, Zuka nonetheless retains an unpretentious air and the staff are professional and friendly. This is one of Rio’s most beautiful dining spaces where you can enjoy a great dining experience with Rio’s fashionable crowd.
