Hotel des Academies Paris
Just a few steps from Place Saint Sulpice and Luxembourg Gardens (one of Paris’ most stunning parks), the 20-room Hotel Des Academies et Des Arts is a charming modern design hotel that features lifelike art forms that dance across the walls, rooms and public spaces. Designed by local artists Jérôme Mesnager (painter) and Sophie de Watrigant (sculptor), the Hotel Des Academies et Des Arts is located opposite the famous art school, Atelier de la Grande Chaumière, in the street that Modigliani and Gauguin once called home. The hotel lives and breathes art and rightfully classifies itself as being a “haven of artistic creation in the heart of Paris”. This intimate hotel has been beautifully designed with a warm, comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, despite being located on the doorstep of the bustling 6th arrondissement. Rooms are individually designed, where the delightful Comédienne room is a fitting tribute to the theatre world with a bold bed head upholstered in red velvet. The ever-seductive Parisienne room is charming and romantic, with a dressing room to keep all of your recent Parisian fashion purchases. Their tearoom, Chez Charlotte, is open from 2.30 - 6.00pm daily and offers delectable patisserie treats from patissier Pierre Herme and a fine selection of teas from Le Palais des Thés.
