As a soaring chandelier-lit party space, Mansion night club has become one of the hottest fixtures of Miami's club scene. Owned by the ubiquitous Opium Group who have a veritable monopoly on the city's nightlife, its décor features what has become signature South Beach opulence: Venetian mirrors, elegant fireplaces, and several cozy VIP areas. The former art-deco theater now holds two DJ booths, nine bars, and four dance floors, which can accommodate as many as 2,000 guests – a capacity it often reaches during its many high-profile shows, parties, and other events. Celebrities running the gamut from television's reality show stars to Hollywood's up-and-coming have celebrated here, so expect high prices but fast service. The door policy can be exceedingly selective; dress in your finest, but if waiting in line gets tedious, move on and come back another night. Certain shows require tickets.
