Having first opened its doors almost 15 years ago in London’s lively Exmouth Market pedestrian street, Moro restaurant is still as fun, lively and crowded as ever. Moro’s award-winning cuisine will take you on a journey of vibrant, knock-out flavours from Morocco, Spain and North Africa. Tapas-style starters such as the tangy blood orange and feta salad with Gaziantep pistachios, and the salt cod brandada with piquillo pepper salad will whet your appetite; followed by the heartier mains of charcoal grilled lamb with artichoke pilav with sweet yoghurt sauce, and perfectly wood roasted chicken with spiced apricot sauce, spinach and pine nuts. Dishes are designed to be shared and the menu changes regularly, so be prepared to discover a rare and intriguing range of Moorish herbs and spices on the menu. In summer, Moro really comes into its own as the tables spill outdoors onto the charming pedestrian terrace outside. Bookings advised.
