Following the success of their first restaurant venture Shunka, Koy Shunka is the second venture by talented chef/owner Hideki Matsuhisa and has been a smash-hit since opening. The sleek, minimalist interiors are modeled after an upscale Izakaya-style den, where the cubed-shaped dining space literally wraps around the frenetic, high-paced open kitchen that places diners in the heart of the action. The team of chefs are meticulous craftsmen who roast, poach and steam all manner of exotic ingredients in front of you, ranging from an extensive a la carte menu of sushi, sashimi and robata grilled meats, to the more adventurous daily-changing tasting menu of highly refined, innovative and exquisite Japanese flavours.
