The Best Parks

  • Outdoor

Berlin is a picturesque city which is surrounded by several beautiful parks in the center of the city. A chilled-out picnic in one of Berlin’s beautiful parks is a quintessential local experience, so when the sun is shining, pick up some delicious food and a bottle of wine and head outdoors for the afternoon. These are our favourite parks in Berlin:

1. Grober Tiergarten - This is one of the most famous central parks in Berlin, covering over 500 acres. This is a vibrant local park which is a popular place for locals to hang out during the warmer months.

2. Schlosspark Charlottenberg - The luscious English-style gardens located behind the spectacular Schlosspark Charlottenberg Palace.

3. Unter den Linden - This green, leafy boulevard is a popular place to stroll with locals while taking in the spectacular sights of the beautiful State Opera House, the statue of Frederick the Great, and Berlin’s most respected and oldest university, the Humboldt University.

4. Zoologischer Garten - The largest animal park in the world and Germany’s oldest zoo and aquarium, with over 14,000 animals.
