This cafe with an adjoining fashion minishop is an ultracool, urban destination in the middle of Bali’s tropical paradise. Selling womenswear lines by Indonesian designers, his own childrens’ wear line, as well as art and jewelry, Sean Cosgrove, an Australian expat, has found the right mix between coffeeshop and retail store to attract the hippest tourists and Aussie fashionistas. Most regulars of The Corner Store come for the hearty breakfast menu, with delicious options such as the creamy porridge with fresh fruits or the crispy hash browns with organic rocket, lime and olive oil dressing. The Corner Store also offers a fantastic lunchtime menu of fresh salads, such as rucola and pear with a sweet and nutty dressing, and crusty paninis as well.
